The Ladies Outing enjoyed Medford’s last Art Walk of the year on Friday, September 21, 2012. The town was all “decked-out and ready for company”. They literally rolled out the green carpet of sod along the sidewalks and set up chairs like an outside cafe. In Vogel Square Mexican music blared as festively dressed girls waved their colorful skirts while dancing to traditional tunes. A rock and roll- blues ( whatever it was -it was loud) band played later and collected a sizable crowd. Many shops, including the Medford Art Gallery, graciously welcomed us with wine samples and various goodies, while we considered their wares and perused the myriad of art displayed. Afterwards, as the night darkened, Lynn, Phyllis, Carolyn, Chris and I strolled on down to the Bohemian club where we marveled at all the people out and about on that warm patio-conducive-eating night.
