Lynn hosted the Knotty Ladies’ first meeting of 2015 on January 7. Membership currently stands at nine, which is a comfortable number for our group. The Membership Roster was updated to include new phone numbers. Dora reported that our treasury remains the same as last month but will be reduced this month to cover a bill. Maxine read thank you notes from the D-9 Foundation and the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics. Meridel shared several give-aways. Dora showed a new quilt block that she is working on and then gave each of us a copy of the pattern.
We will continue to work on our current soldier quilt(s) in red, white, and blue. Dora will host a work day at her home from 9:00 to 11:00 on Thursday, January 29.
Our next meeting will be held on February 4 at Dora’s home. It will be our annual clean-up exchange. Members are encouraged to bring quilting magazines, pattern books, fabrics, and any other quilting or sewing supplies that they no longer need. Items not taken at the meeting will be donated to the Eagle Point Senior Center or GoodWill.
