On Thursday, July 23, eight enthusiastic walkers carpooled to Hawthorne Park in Medford, and walked 3+ miles on the Bear Creek Greenway. It was a perfect day for walking, sunny and not too hot. The path has been cleaned up, extended, and is much improved! It was beautiful walking along the creek through the woods past ripening blackberry bushes. We got as far as Bear Creek Park which ends at Barnett and Highland. On our return, we decided to stop and have a bite at Red Robin, and a good time was had by all!
Next month we can look forward to a jaunt at Lithia Park in Ashland!
