The Knotty Ladies escaped the smoky skies over Eagle Point and met at the Hedges cabin in Rocky Point on August 5. They shared patterns and variations on patterns and then got down to work on several projects. Dora shared a soldier quilt she had completed and then showed photos of other projects. Betty added the borders to our latest “blue” soldier quilt and will follow through with the quilting and binding. Dora and Meridel presented different ways to make tissue holders. Maxine tried both and was most prolific. Pot luck lunch was over the top as usual. Each person worked on individual projects and the threads flew. It was a great day. The next meeting will be held on September 2 at Betty’s home.
