Carol Kato hosted the November meeting of the Knotty Ladies. Dora reported that our treasury still has enough money to carry us for another year. We will consider participating in the next Members’ Market when it comes around. Lydia, Dora, Betty, and Meridel delivered two patriotic quilts to the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinic. Maxine shared the gracious thank you note from them. They are always in need of ditty bags and laundry bags if anyone has extra fabric and a little time to sew. The center accepts cookies and other desserts which they keep on hand for the residents. They showed us the neatly organized items to be given out as needed.
December luncheon plans include meeting in the south parking lot at the Talon grill at 11:00 a.m. on December 2 to carpool to lunch. Meridel will make sure we have a reservation. Please let her know whether or not you plan to attend.
Show and tell included Dora’s Christmas pot holders, fabric birds, and a music themed tote bag.
Our final event of the year will be the Christmas luncheon on December 2.
