On January 6, the Piecemakers met at the home of Rosenelle Florencechild to welcome in another year of quilting. Since most of the previous quilting projects ended up as gifts, show and tell was accomplished via photos. And, since January is a time for New Year’s resolutions, Elaine brought in a project book that details all of her quilt projects since she started quilting and included photos and fabric samples of all her projects. She also shared a magazine article that describes organizational/personality styles with tips for each. Linda T provided a sumptuous lunch of corn chowder, salad, bread and apple cake. After eating and chatting, we pulled out sewing machines and completed a row of our log cabin stars raffle quilt. The next meeting is February 3 at !:30.
