Another fantastic Ladies Outing in April took 27 of us on a tour of the historical Beekman House in Jacksonville. This house is a 1 1/2 story Gothic Revival style home built by Cornelius C. Beekman between 1870 and 1876 for his wife and two children. It is furnished with period pieces owned by the Beekman’s and is a beautiful home. We then had a wonderful lunch at Back Porch Bar & Grill in Jacksonville. The menu is Texas style BBQ and the food is delicious. If you have not been to either of these places, you should go.
