The Knotty Ladies convened at Carol Kato’s home on April 6. Our winter travelers have returned so we were in full force — nearly. No change was reported in our treasury.
Dora has been asked to present a trunk show featuring quilts she has made. The show will be held on April 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gold Hill United Methodist Church. Dora will also demonstrate how to make fabric tissue holders. Members were reminded that the Mountain Stars quilt show will be held June 24 and 25 at the Cascade Christian High School. As if that’s not enough to take in, the Knotty Ladies will host their annual shop hop in May this year. We will begin by hopping to a new Grants Pass quilt shop, Jordan Fabrics, 1590 NE 7th St. Phone number is 541-476-0214. Watch for an email coordinating this event which will take place on May 4.
Betty will take charge of assembling our latest soldier quilt. Dora will let us know if we need to make more blocks to complete this project.
Our next regular meeting will be replaced by the May 4 shop hop. We will meet in the parking lot at the Talon Grill and car pool. Stay tuned for the time.
