Our annual quilting retreat was held on August 3 in the mountains at Rocky Point. Linda shared a simple quilt block that is being used for donation quilts. We held a brief meeting over coffee and cakes. Maxine will represent the Knotty Ladies at the EPWC August luncheon and report on our activities. The group voted to participate in the October EPWC Members' Market. Everyone is busy turning out small handmade items to raise money to purchase batting and other supplies for our donation quilts. We will display any donation quilts we have on hand and perhaps create a photo board of past projects. . After some dazzling show and tell, the Ladies worked until lunch time. In the afternoon we continued our assembling of blocks, relaxed on the deck, and visited. before driving back to Eagle Point. Our next meeting will be on September 7 at Betty's house. It will be a time to inventory what we have created for the October sale.
