The Knotty Ladies have been busy. We set up a table at the Members Market to display the donation quilts and other items that are ready to be given to worthy recipients. We also sold hand crafted items to raise money to purchase batting or fabric for future donation quilts. We enjoyed sharing patterns and ideas for the items to be sold, we enthusiastically sewed the items, and had a great time visiting with members who purchased items from our table.
On November 2 the Ladies met at Carol Kuehnert’s home where we created our calendar for 2017, planned our December luncheon, and amazed each other with stunning Show and Tell projects. We welcomed new member Linda Riddle who has been a guest and has now moved to Eagle Point and joined the EP Women’s Club. We are delighted to have Linda in our group.
Our next meeting will be held at Lydia’s home on December 7. It will be a potluck and secret gift exchange.
