Just when you think you can't top the last Ladies Outing, we have another one that was fantastic. Blackstone Audio gave us a tour of their operations in Ashland. Blackstone Audio is one of the largest independent audiobook publishers in the US, offering over 10,000 audiobooks. The company is based in Ashland, Oregon. They have five in-house recording studios. Blackstone distributes directly to consumers on their website, as well as to the library market with titles from Blackstone, Hachette, HarperCollins, BBC and Disney Press. They have a very high-tech operation which they designed themselves. It is worth seeing. Lunch at Caldera Brewey afterwards was delicious and the service was terrific. Another great outing.
