Walkabout rides (or walks?) again! Yesterday, Friday March 29 at 9:00 a.m., was our first just-under-3-mile walk, focusing primarily on the historical parts of Eagle Point. We started at the covered bridge, moved up past the museum and flour mill, past historic residential houses, and then back through downtown, stopping at the Senior Center and finally Ed’s Oasis. Many of the buildings found in the historical pamphlets were no longer there, and many addresses had changed. But many of the buildings still exist. We ended up at Barbwire Grill for breakfast, and a good time was had by all!
