17 ladies gathered at the beautiful new home of Joyce Todd to catch-up and laugh with one another, enjoy a great potluck dinner and some friendly card competition playing 3-13. Joyce gave tours of the new house she designed and moved into last November. We feasted on yummy appetizers, colorful salads, pulled pork and sloppy joes, with ice-cream pie and lemon bars for dessert, all the creations of our talented group members. Wyn Lewis posted the low score of the evening along with 5 other winners; and even though Linda O’Neal “lost” with the highest score, a bowlful of quarters eased the pain! Those who don’t bring a dish to share donate to the Eagle Point Food Project, so even as we’re enjoying a girls night out we continue to support our community. If you’re interested in joining us on the second Saturday evening of the month, please contact Aleli Lawson.
