On June 4th, 23 ladies and 3 of their husbands had a fantastic outing on 3 patio boats cruising around Lost Creek Lake. It was one for the records. The weather was absolutely perfect. But this was not just a boat cruise. Our planner extraordinaire, Annette Godfrey, had goodie bags for all of us and planned 3 games. Each boat competed in three events, a scavenger hunt, writing a song to depict our boat/crew, and design a flag for our boat! Each boat won an event so prizes were provided to all. Then there was the swimming and dancing at the swim dock. A huge thank you to the volunteer boat drivers, Don Brown, Lonnie Lawson and Dennis Godfrey. They were also the judges in the flag and song competition. Some of us brought our lunch and others ordered delicious sandwiches from the Picnic Basket Deli in Shady Cove.
The day could not have been more perfect and everyone agreed that is was just an amazing day. Thank you Annette for such a fantastic job planning this outing.
