On a brisk morning Tuesday, October 1, 2019, twenty ladies enjoyed a fun and historical tour of downtown Medford. Our tour guide was none other than Ben Truwe, a local historian and Trustee of the Southern Oregon Historical Society. We learned about brothels and opium dens, the railroad and the agricultural boom and so much more. We saw some great pictures of old time Medford. Ben’s knowledge of Medford history is massive! After our tour we all enjoyed a tasty lunch at Habanero’s Mexican Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. Loved the chips!
All in all, another successful and enjoyable Ladies Outing!
