The hiking group got together on Monday November 4. Gerene sent out an “impromptu” e-mail inviting those who were interested in a hike to Upper Table Rock. 5 showed up to car-pool, in two cars, with masks, and 6 more traveled independently to meet at the trailhead. Weather was perfect, so the 11 hikers headed uphill. We gathered at the top for lunch. We were treated to a fly by of 5 Blackhawk helicopters – at eye level! A great hike, and wonderful to get together again after so many months.
