Four members of our group met on Cinco de Mayo on Rosenelle's patio. It was a warm day but nice in the shady space. We all had fun sharing our works in progress (WIP's). Rosenelle and Linda have made progress on a French Rose quilt they are making for their friend/hairdresser as a wedding gift. The bride to be chose grey's with splashes of white & black plus green for the leaves. They had 17 block parts cut, ready to make the roses, so Kelly & Elaine helped them put the blocks together. What a fun way to do something creative together! Can't wait to see the finished project.
Kelly showed off her WIP, an American Banners wall quilt called "Fillin' Up". Elaine is creating a new apron and showed off the cute fabric, also in grey & white. The old apron is over 40 years old!
As always, we had a wonderful time.
