Kelly hosted the meeting in May and showed us how to do the fabric discharge process again. It was fun to see the different fabrics we each selected for the project. We also showed off our avatars (jazzy stitched portraits) in various stages of completion. Check out the pictures of the various parts of the discharge process as well as our adorable avatars.
Sue is applying the deColourant to the fabric. The freezer paper has been ironed on so the fabric below it will not loose it’s color. My teal squares are drying.
The big reveal! It looks like a pieced block. The next step is to rinse the fabric and they are done.
