The Piecemakers met on September 4, 2024 at the Eagle Point Library. We shared some show and tells first. Sue brought her completed bag. She added pockets inside and a strap to hold keys. Very clever! Sandra brought the first quilt she ever made, back in high school! She had used cardboard patterns to cut out the shapes for the quilt. The quilt was in very good shape. Linda brought 8 of her finished blocks for her Advent calendar quilt. They are just gorgeous.
We then worked on the quilt of valor that was started earlier this year. We will be adding piano keys & more borders. We are making progress.
Next month we are meeting for lunch and Luna's and then do some shopping at the Sunshine Quilt Shoppe.
