A delegation of volunteer EPWC members hosted a table at the D9 Foundation 2025 Scholarship Dessert Fundraiser event. It was a fun evening. In attendance was Liz Crossman, Mary Harper, Sharyn Close, Dianne Mihocko, Wyn Lewis, Viki Brown and Susie Roach, and cake baker Susan Watson. Not including this event, the foundation now has close to 2 million in the Scholarship Endowment. We know the scholarships which are awarded don’t come close to paying for a post secondary education but it provides a ‘shot in the arm’ to graduating seniors and an affirmation that their hometown believes in their potential.
