The Piecemakers met at the Ashpole to learn how to make a stained glass star quilt block. Our instructor was Sue. When she first made this star, she showed it off and we all fell in love with it. It is a more challenging star to make but there was success! You will see the finished stars in the pictures. You will also see more show and tells. With the larger group, we seem to always have lots of show and tells. One of my favorite is Dora's Halloween quilt. Two of the blocks are stained glass window stars! How perfect.
Next month we will be working on a scrappy quilt. Enjoy the photos!
