Our September meeting was held at our new hangout, the Ashpole Community Center. This facility is really working out well for our larger group. Our sewing project/lesson was making a tortilla warmer. Dora was our instructor and we had quite a large group of us making the warmers. Others worked on UFO's. It is always fascinating to see the variety in the fabrics each of us select for our projects. It is lots of fun and they all end up looking fantastic.
Next month Sue will be teaching us how to make a stained glass star quilt block. I really love this star block. We had quite a few show and tells. Some of us have been quite busy. Check them out in the pictures.
