The recently formed second book club group (dubbed New Book Buddies) met on Monday, November 17, at the home of Denise Fikes. Eight members enjoyed discussing the book “Salt to the Sea”, an historical fiction account of a very real event which took place at the end of WWII. We also had fun sharing some of our favorite books as we worked on our schedule of meetings and books to read for 2026. The group plans to meet in December at the home of Martha Roy, on Monday, Dec. 15, from 2-4pm. We’ll enjoy some holiday cheer and continue choosing our next several books to read!
