On November 5, 2025 the Piecemakers met at the Ashpole center to learn how to make the Donna Jordan Scrappy Lattice Quilt. Well, at least the block. There were three of us that completed at least one block. Linda, Kelly & Joyce show off their blocks in the pictures. As always, we had a number of show and tell items. Too many to show them all so I picked something from everyone. We made plans for our December shop & lunch day and also came up with ideas for projects in 2026. It was a fun and productive meeting.
On December 3, 2025 we went out to lunch before shopping. A wonderful lunch was enjoyed at El Molcajete Mexican Grill. After that we headed over to Sunshine Quilt Shoppe. The plan had been to go to Sew Creative in Ashland after Sunshine but since Linda and Rosenelle were attending a UFO week at Stitched Quilt Shop, we decided to go there instead. We all checked out the quilting room they have set up in the back and enjoyed shopping. It is wonderful to have such a great store so close to us.
As it turns out, we cannot meet at Ashpole in January due to a scheduling problem but Stitched offered us the quilting room for our meeting. We took a vote and we all agreed to make the change. It should be a fun meeting. And, we can shop too!
