Eight ladies from the newest book club group met on Monday, February 16 at the home of Melanie Harris, to share thoughts on the book “The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store” by JamesMcBride. Several ladies agreed that there were an overabundance of characters to keep track of! Nevertheless, many enjoyed the book despite its sometimes difficult subject matter. All agreed that being able to come together and discuss books we might not otherwise choose to read, is one of the bests aspects of our book club!
