Dora hosted the February meeting of the Knotty Ladies. Her splendidly set table represented our love of quilting together and the camaraderie of our group. February is our annual donate and take month where we donate treasures from our sewing rooms and make room for more acquisitions. Members displayed their donations and then “shopped” for donated items that interested them. All left-over items were given to a local charity. This very busy group of women has again postponed our work session where we hope to complete the blocks necessary for our current soldier quilt. We will tackle that project at our March meeting. Meanwhile, several members took more red center squares and will work at home to complete more 12-inch finished blocks.
Our next meeting will be held on March 2 and will be hosted by Robin Oquist.
