The Knotty Ladies welcomed interested quilter and guest Betsy Hase at their February meeting which was held at Dora's home. February is our annual "clean out your quilting room" meeting where members exchanged items that they no longer needed. Betsy was able to score several items to start her own quilting. Items not chosen were donated to the Eagle Point Library and to GoodWill.
Arrangements were made to deliver the stack of donation quilts. On Friday, February 3, Lydia led the delivery party (Carol Kuehnert, Dora, and Meridel). The Children's Advocacy Center received six children's quilts and the Veteran's Administration in White City received a bed quilt and a lap robe.
Plans were made for several projects to be raffled or sold at the next EPWC Members Market. All proceeds from this event will be used to purchase supplies for our donation quilts.
The next meeting will be held on March 1 at Maxine's home.
