The Couples 3-13 Group kicked off 2023 on February 18 at the homes of Lynn Baker, Nancy Erickson and Sandi Smith. New member Barbara Weber and her husband Steve attended for the first time which gave them the opportunity to meet new people, share some great food and learn a new card game. Several couples shared both winning and losing scores this time! Low scores at Lynn's house were the hostess herself with 34 points followed by Don Brown-46, Jim Hyden-53, Bernie Quiring-75 and Connie Quiring had the high score. At the Ericksons, John Buckley scored low with 66 points followed by Brigitte Lemmerman-71, Aleli Lawson-88, Bruce Lemmerman-92 and Paula Buckley with a high score of 189. Michelle Harter came away with the low score of 53 points at the Smiths. with Teresa Allen-64, Bruce Harter-81, Susan Watson-88 following and Charlie Allen scored a high of 178. Currently the group has 33 couples involved. We have 3 homes that host each month. We gather the third Saturday evening every month at 6:00 pm, have a nice happy hour visit, share a great dinner, play a "mean" card game and enjoy each other's company. It's the only activity group in the Women's Club that the husbands/ partners are a part of and a great way for them to meet each other.
