Couples 3-13 was held on September 16 at the homes of Joyce & Chuck Todd and a new couple to the activity group, Vicki & Steve Wittenbrock.
After appetizers, visiting and dinner, the 3-13 card games were held. At the Todds, host Chuck posted his all time low score of 29 points, Paul Erickson with 39, Kristine Frey with 49, Bruce Harter with 60 and Wolfgang Hase with 64 points. Nancy Erickson was the high scorer. Kay Breithaupt scored low with 41 points at the Wittenbrocks followed by Virginia Felker with 49, Chuck Jenks had 81 and Wayne Breithaupt with 89. Host and first time player Steve Wittenbrock garnered a high of 183 points.
The October 21st gatherings of Couples 3-13 will be hosted by Michelle Harter, Susan Watson and Diane Sproat.
The November 18th gathering will be the last for this year, and the last coordinated by me. The Coordinator’s spot for this activity group is still open. There are several ladies possibly interested in forming a “Coordinator by Committee” group, with the duties split up between members rather than 1 person handling everything. I am very happy to hear that there is keen interest to keep the group going. More to follow on that but if you are interested in assisting, please contact Aleli Lawson.
