At our August meeting, Kelly showed us how to use discharge paste to make an interesting block. Making circles is so much easier this way than sewing them! It was really interesting to see how the color changed as it was removed from the parts of the fabric that had the paste on it. This was a repeat project and our newest members really enjoyed it. Rosenelle brought in a couple of her "UFO" projects and several members had show and tell items to share with us. I just love show and tell!
The Ashpole has proven to be the perfect spot for our meetings and we will meet there again in September.
