In the blink of an eye, it’s December. The days are colder and it’s getting dark so much earlier. The bright side of that is our neighborhoods are beginning to light up with holiday decorations and that’s a beautiful thing to behold.
Because we were unable to secure the RVCC for our luncheon this month, we decided to do something different. We’re having a progressive open house. Three of our members who live on Pebble Creek are opening their beautifully decorated homes for members to gather and enjoy some holiday cheer. Members who attend will be assigned the first house to begin and where they’ll bring their assigned offering (appetizer or beverage). Then, they will be free to walk to the other houses whenever they want. When we began to plan this, we had no idea what our members would think of this idea. To our delight, we have over 60 members registered so far and there’s still time, if you haven’t already registered.
As you will read in this month’s Blast, there are many club activities that will brighten your days. How about signing up for something new? I hope to see many of you throughout the month. And, as always, if you have suggestions, I’d love to hear from you.
Liz
