What a beautiful start to May! I walk outside to hear birds chirping while flowers bless us with color. Do you know what else blesses us…the member activities that bring us together to share our interests and each others’ company. Scroll down and see if you’re missing out on any of the fun activities. You are welcome to join them all.
On the 15th of April, 50 members attended our bimonthly luncheon at Talon Grill and learned about the group membership we have with Mercy Flights. For those who were unable to attend, the annual group rate is $85 per household and it covers all ground and air transportation for medical emergencies. Our renewal date will be May 1 each year. If you already paid your annual membership fee to Mercy Flights, you can join the group membership rate when you receive a renewal notice from Mercy Flights and your fee will be pro-rated to next May. It’s a great EPWC perk so please contact me directly if you have any questions.
Speaking of bimonthly luncheons, our June 17 luncheon, which is also our annual membership meeting, will be held at Eagle Point Golf Course’s Pavilion. There will be no limit in the number of members who can attend. And, back by popular demand, our guest speaker will be the estate planning attorney who spoke at our February luncheon, Penny Austin.
There’s still time for you to submit your annual EPWC membership dues. And, unlike just about everything else you pay for, the dues have not increased. Scroll down to the article titled, “Membership” to see ways to pay.
As always, if you have any suggestions regarding ways your EPWC membership could improve, please let me or any other member of the board know. We want this to be the best social club ever!
