Maggie Webster and Kathy Lystra joined together to present a delightful Culinary Arts afternoon in Kathy’s comfortable home. Maggie provided stories of her life in Scotland while she prepared her Mother’s orginal recipe for shortbread. Though Maggie prepared an updated version using a food processor, she shared the ‘secrets’ passed down to her from family members. She told us that shortbread is usually eaten with high tea. Maggie also told us about the many variations possible for preparing shortbread. Another very special Culinary Arts event presented by very talented ladies!
