Walkabout visiting Lithia Park in August
Just to put it out there, this month on Friday, August 23, we’ll be walking at Lithia Park in Ashland. Meet at the Walmart parking lot at 8:00 a.m. to carpool to Ashland. Breakfast/brunch afterward at a restaurant to be decided on. RSVPs requested, thank you!
Walkabout is changing the meeting time to 8:00 a.m. for the summer!
Due to the heat of the summer, Sharyn and I have decided to change the meeting time to 8:00 a.m. for the next few Walkabouts. It will still be held on the 4th Friday of the month, no other changes. We will probably change it back to 9:00 a.m. in October.

Walkabout investigates TouVelle Park!
Eight of us went for a walk/sometimes hike at TouVelle Park, complete with a few dogs. We all enjoyed the warm but not too hot weather along the river, perfect for walking, chatting and exploring. Already looking forward to July!

On the 4th Thursday in June, the 23rd, we will meet at the Talon Grill at 9:00 a.m., and carpool to Jacksonville for a 3-1/2+ mile walk around the streets of J’ville, followed by brunch at a restaurant of our choice. Come on down!
