The Ladies Bunco Night activity “rolled” out with enormous chatter, joy and fun with the evening hosted by Wyn Lewis. Wyn truly out did herself by filling her kitchen bar full of mouth-watering and delicious snacks, beverages and not one but two different desserts! Thank you, Wyn on behalf of the ladies and me, you were a gracious hostess and have a beautiful home.
Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, not everyone was able to attend the inaugural evening but we didn’t let that stop us from enjoying the night. New friends were made, laughs were had and “Mr. Dude” was introduced and named by Olivia Penny, I might add. He was quite the talk of the evening.
Attending our first Ladies Bunco Night were Wyn Lewis, Debbie Tossie, Betsy Hase, Olivia Penny, Bonnie Scriba, Lynn Tally, Kay Lund, Ann Bunt, Fran Morgan, Georgia Saladino, Mary Gorczewski, and Melody O’Brien.
Our winners for the evening were…never trust anyone who says “I’ve never played before”, because taking home the biggest purse ($25) for MOST BUNCOS was Betsy Hase, who delightfully got to holler out 7 times “BUNCO” and spend a little time with “The Dude” on Thursday night. MOST WINS went to Bonnie Scriba, who won 12 games and $20. Olivia Penny took the honor of SECOND MOST WINS along with $10 and our hostess, Wyn Lewis and Kay Lund left the evening with everyone calling them the BIGGEST LOSERS, but “hey” how can you be called a loser if you walk away with money? They split $5 and smiled all the way out the door and back to the kitchen.
