Perfect weather, great conversation, and laughter were enjoyed by nine hikers on the Muir Creek Trail on Friday, September 19. The group encountered several obstacles along the 5.5-6.0 mile hike, including downed trees across the trail (one exceptionally large), crossing a big marsh on a flat log, and several stream crossings. A highlight was viewing Muir Falls while eating our picnic lunch.
