April 2015 Luncheon Enjoyed by All

Fifty Club members gathered at The Rogue valley Country Club for a Hawaiian-themed luncheon and another excellent program. Dyan Straughan, geneticist with the Animal Forensics Lab in Ashland, provided an interesting history on the formation of the lab followed by a description and pictures of the diverse “detective” work performed there. The lab in Ashland is the only one of it’s kind in the world. The Board election results were announced by the nomination committee of Sharyn Close and Elaine Slate. The table decorations were hand-crafted by Annette Godfrey, luncheon coordinator, and added a touch of aloha to the room. The new Board will be:
