Six hikers enjoyed camaraderie and beautiful landscape while hiking about 5 1/2 miles at five of the Umpqua River Waterfalls. We hiked at Deadline Falls, Susan Creek Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Toketee Falls (with about 200 steps leading to the overlook), and Watson Falls (highest in southwest Oregon). Waterfalls made a relaxing, scenic background for our picnic lunch.
