Thirteen ladies from the hiking group had a fun 2-day trip to Oregon Gardens and Silver Falls State Park on April 14-15. Our plan was to hike on Thursday; but due to inclement weather (cold, wind, and rain), we went to Oregon Gardens Resort after lunch. During a guided tram tour, we learned about various themed gardens in the complex and later enjoyed a delicious dinner and camaraderie at the Garden View Restaurant. After a hearty breakfast Friday, we drove back to the park where we hiked more than seven miles of trails and viewed magnificent waterfalls.
