A sunny June day welcomed a cheerful group of Eagle Point Women's Club members to the Rogue Valley Country Club for the June luncheon. Lots of opportunities to sign up for the many activities scheduled over the next few months were available and taken advantage of by many. The program for this month was planned and coordinated by EPWC member, Debbie Tossie and featured two Jackson County women entrepreneurs. The owner of Rogue Valley Zipline Adventures and the co-owner of Rogue Raft Company both presented information on their businesses and gave some personal background on how they came to be running an outdoor recreation business. Some members had already experienced the Zipline Adventure and gave high praise to the staff and the experience overall. One of the featured outdoor adventures that the two companies offer in collaboration with each other is Zip, Dip and Sip. This features the zipline adventure, a whitewater raft trip and wine tasting at Del Rio Vineyards in Gold Hill. Annette Godfrey plans to organize an outing to the zipline adventure later this summer. The lunch menu included chicken parmigiana, penne pasta, salad bar and a chocolate mousse dessert. Another great time shared with friends.
