The Eagle Point Women's Club 2016 Holiday luncheon was held on December 14 at the Rogue Valley Country Club and was a warm and spirited gathering on a wet, winter day. The choir from Eagle Point High School provided the entertainment with a variety of beautiful Christmas carols. The group even joined in for a sing along version of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". The entire facility was decorated Christmas trees and lights and felt very festive. President Annette Godfrey, provided little birthday gifts to those celebrating Dec. and Jan. birthdays while the group sang Happy Birthday. Special thanks went out to the Christmas party committee of Debbie Tossie, Valerie Taylor-Crow and Mary Gorczewski who planned and executed a great party at Rocky Tonk Saloon. There are openings on the nominating committee for the 2017-2019 Board, the picnic planning committee and the 2017 Christmas Party committee and members can contact Annette if you are willing to serve on any of them. The Club needs your participation. An Italian-themed lunch topped off with tiramisu for dessert completed an enjoyable gathering.
