September 15, eight women took advantage of a day of healthy air and hiked to the 5922-ft. summit of Grizzly Peak above Mt. Ashland. The haze hid some of the distant peaks, but we still had great views, exchanged lots of stories, and successfully negotiated a right-of-way with a herd of cows on the way up.
