83 women filled the ballroom at the Rogue Valley Country Club for lunch and our annual Member's Market sale. There were 11 vendors with their wares set up and a wide variety of items for shoppers to consider. Beautiful quilting, crocheted hats, jewelry, scarves, purses, kitchen towels, hand-crafted greeting cards, lightly used books, skin care products and lots more filled up the tables. Three tables were selling items to raise money for charitable causes- hurricane victims relief , literacy programs at the Eagle Point Branch Library and materials for quilts to be donated. Everyone had fun browsing and many took home some new treasures. The business portion of the meeting featured the unveiling of the Volunteer Group of the Year award received by the EPWC from the Eagle Point Chamber of Commerce. Lots of contributions made by members to serve in a variety of volunteer roles. President Sharyn announced the opening of registration for the annual Christmas party scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. The option to register and pay for the party online was also explained. A great gathering and looking forward to the December luncheon scheduled for Dec. 13, 2017 with holiday music presented by the St. Mary's High School choir.
