Eleven ladies met at the home of Janice Kabel to share foods prepared from recipes selected from "America's Test Kitchen: Just Add Sauce": cookbook. Co-hostesses Joan Devlin and Janice Kabel selected recipes to cover all meal courses from appetizers through desserts and each guest brought the dish that they had prepared at home from their assigned recipe to share. We enjoyed each course with a discussion of how each dish was prepared and any special details involved. Several of us dusted off fondue pots that had been stored for years to serve southwest cheese fondue and chocolate fondue with cognac. Every dish was delicious and savored with a few sips of dry white or rose' wine or iced tea. Conversation was enjoyable and shared around a beautiful table set by Janice. Thanks to Joan and Janice for all of the effort put into this event. Looking forward to "Cooking with Fresh Food" in August.
