12 ladies traveled to Ashland to experience a tour of the Schneider Museum of Art on the SOU campus and lunch at Omar's Restaurant. A young docent guided our group through the five exhibits with lots of information on the artists and their unique work. Each exhibit was fascinating and thought-provoking. We also took a self-guided tour through the SOU At building where we viewed some student art work. A short walk delivered us to Omar's where we enjoyed dishes such as albacore tuna melt, Mediterranean style grilled snapper and fresh seafood salad. A big thanks to Susan Watson who planned and coordinated this enjoyable outing.
