Fourteen members gathered together at the home of Gerene Leffingwell to share a wide variety of appetizers that each guest prepared at home and brought to share with the group. As we enjoyed sampling the many dishes, each cook described the ingredients and preparation methods for her recipe. Yummy appetizers from "Thai Turkey and Brown Rice Lettuce Wraps" to "Cajun Stuffed Shrimp with Jalapeno Peppers" were enjoyed by all and gave us some great ideas for future use. We finished the sampling with a frozen raspberry mousse dessert prepared by Gerene. As always, the socializing and catching up with old friends was a highlight. Our planning meeting for 2019 will be held at the home of Viki Brown on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 from 3-5 pm.
