It was a mild December evening for our annual Classy Christmas Party which was held in the Pavilion at the Eagle Point Golf Resort for the second year. Lots of cozy heaters were placed around the room and service from two bars in the room kept everybody warm and comfortable. Once again some ladies dusted off their fur coats, jackets or stoles and enjoyed reminiscing about the grandmothers, mothers and other relatives who had handed the furs down to them. Sparkling Christmas trees and decorated tables and chandeliers turned the room into a winter wonderland. Carla Takemoto once again provided well-selected Christmas music for our listening pleasure. A few folks even took to the dance floor for some spins with their hubby. The dinner buffet featured a winter feast and cheesecake and chocolate cake finished the meal on a sweet note. There was plenty of time for socializing and getting acquainted with some newer members who joined us. A fun evening made possible by the efforts of Sharyn Close, Carla Takemoto, Ann Grossman and the rest of the Club Board. Thanks to all who helped and who attended.
