72 EPWC members and guests filled the ballroom at the Rogue Valley Country Club for our December luncheon. The room was a literal sea of red clothing as everyone brightened the cold, foggy day. We all enjoyed some social time, the usual business meeting and a scrumptious buffet lunch. The menu included scalloped potatoes, roast turkey, tossed salad, roasted brussels sprouts, fresh fruit and a tangy lemon bar. Each table featured a hand-crafted centerpiece crafted by member, Annette Godfrey, which were distributed to lucky members through a drawing. We celebrated December and January birthdays and welcomed new members and guests. The program featured local musician, John Hollis, who entertained us with a few jokes and vocal and guitar Christmas music. A group of 5 ladies moved up to a corner of the stage to add a female chorus to the music. Lots of happy holiday wishes were shared as we prepared to finish the rest of our day. Happy Holidays to all and looking forward to an outstanding 2020 together.
