Helen Hensley hosted the Knotty Ladies Quilters on March 4th. We welcome back Lynn Moore, who took a short break from the Knotty Ladies, and is ready to get back and be active again. We look forward to her new ideas.
Helen is big on making small gifts for members and presented them with a pin cushion. Pattern is Cathedral Window.
Helen's (chairperson) first meeting was small as we have 3 members on vacation at this time. Not much got done, but we had a wonderful visit and got caught up on everybody and their ideas.
We discussed the quilt in Carol Kato’s memory and will continue this at our April meeting.
Dora Moore shared her quilt top she is making for her granddaughter. Helen shared a quilt she made and had quilted with her quilting group in Idaho. Also shared the quilt she is making for the Mountain Stars Quilt Guild quilt show this year.
Maxine turned in 11 baby blankets to the Neonatal Unit at Rogue Regional Medical Center. Helen delivered 23 place mats to the Food and Friends for the meals on wheels program. They deliver meals to Medford, Eagle Point, Central Point, and White City.
We are discussing the option of getting together at another time to sew together. Next meeting will be April 1st and hosted by Lynn Baker. Helen Hensley, chairperson
