Nine hikers drove up to the Cascade Mountains to enjoy a six mile hike on the Fish Lake Trail . Viki Brown was the hike leader for this month as the group now has a different volunteer hike leader each month. The trail followed a beautiful creek for the first stretch and then transitioned to following the lake shore of Fish Lake which has very low water levels. We ate our sack lunches in a shady campsite with a picnic table surrounded by a beautiful green forest. Everyone returned to the cars relaxed and with the satisfaction of having spent time in nature. Hikes are on the 3rd Friday of each month and open to all members.
